GMC Acadia

The GMC Acadia Denali is being offered with perforated leather upholstery in a dual-tone black and white theme as standard. The cabin looks even more premium with a wooden finish for the centre console and central layer of the dashboard, along with chrome highlights on the steering wheel, door trims, and surrounds for the AC vents. There is also the option of an all-black upholstery in place of the dual-tone black-and-white theme.

The enhanced driver’s cockpit of the GMC Acadia Denali includes a new-generation multi-functional steering wheel with an 11-inch full-TFT instrument console and an 8-inch coloured head-up display behind it. The 15-inch portrait-styled touchscreen infotainment system takes centre stage, with it having sleek and vertical AC vents to its sides. 

Being the top-of-the-line version of the GMC Acadia, this Denali variant has premium features like power, heated and ventilated front seats, power-folding second and third-row seats, heated steering wheel, 16-speaker BOSE audio system, panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging. 

Compared to the previous-generation version, the new third-gen GMC Acadia Denali has grown dimensionally, while also getting new sleeker and eye-catching design elements making it appear fresher.

At the front, the GMC Acadia Denali has a large bossy-looking hexagonal grille with dark chrome surrounds and sleek honeycomb inserts. This crossover has C-shaped headlamps with daytime running LEDs on the outer edges and compact-sized main headlamps on the inner edges. For an added premium appeal, the Acadia Denali has a stretched chrome-finished bar across the width of the front bumper, which has LED fog lamps on the sides.

Thanks to the increased wheelbase and overall length, the new GMC Acadia Denali looks premium with a more authoritative stance than before. This crossover comes with 20-inch machined aluminium alloy wheels with a pearl nickel finish as standard, with the buyers also having the option of upgrading to 22-inch wheels.

The rear profile of the crossover has also been tweaked significantly in this new-generation version, with the sleek C-shaped LED tail lamps having a gloss black panel running between them that reads the ‘Denali’ lettering in the middle. The contrast silver-finished lower part of the rear bumper has a quad exhaust port setup.

The GMC Acadia Denali has an independent suspension setup at both ends, with the full-size crossover getting Macpherson struts at the front and multi-link at the rear. The Acadia Denali is also available with performance suspension for an added extra while having a traction select system with five main drive modes – Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, Off-Road, and Tow/Haul – and a trailering package. 

In this third-generation version, the GMC Acadia Denali replaced the 3.6-litre V6 engine of the previous-gen model with a new-generation 2.5-litre turbocharged inline-four petrol engine. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, this new inline-four turbo-petrol engine claims 328 bhp of maximum power and 442 Nm of maximum torque. 

The comprehensive suite of safety features offered in the GMC Acadia Denali includes enhanced automatic emergency braking, blind zone steering assist, forward collision alert, high-definition 360-degree parking camera and surround vision, following distance indicator, front pedestrian and cyclist braking, adaptive LED headlamps, rear park assist, and safety alert seat.

This full-size crossover also gets rear cross-traffic braking, rear pedestrian alert, adaptive cruise control, side bicyclist alert, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, reverse automatic braking, traffic sign recognition, enhanced automatic parking assist, driver attention assist, and Super Cruise hands-free driver-assistance technology.

In this revolutionary new third-generation version, the GMC Acadia Denali became not only larger and much more premium inside-out but also became technically advanced with a new-generation powertrain, which is more powerful and efficient at the same time.
