Nissan unveils the Hyper Tourer Concept with pillarless side openings

ABU DHABI: Nissan revealed the Hyper Tourer concept, giving a sneak peek into the appearance of an electric people carrier wearing the Nissan badge.

This is the carmaker's third car that will make its debut at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show alongside the Hyper Adventure Concept and Hyper Urban Concept.

The Hyper Tourer minivan boasts a striking design with sliding doors that open in opposite directions. These doors are very special as they reveal pillarless side openings on the right and left sides. This design concept seems to be inspired by the European Ford B-Max mini-MPV, which became extremely popular in the 2010s.

The front seats feature a 360-degree swivel feature, allowing you to enjoy face-to-face conversations even when the car is running. This has only been possible because of the EV's autonomous driving capabilities. The vehicle also features an overhead console that has been integrated into the lighting design. Another prominent feature is the floor with a flat LED panel that showcases imagery depicting the sky and a riverbed.

This electric minivan uses the e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system of Nissan. It runs on a flat, all-solid-state battery with a high capacity. Due to its battery power-sharing feature, you can use your gadgets, charge a laptop, or even send electricity back to the grid through the vehicle-to-everything (V2X) feature.
