LA Auto Show to witness the debut of 2019 Nissan Maxima facelift

ABU DHABI: Nissan has announced to showcase the 2019 Nissan Maxima in the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show, which is scheduled to start in late November. The automaker has also teased an image of the sedan. Needless to say, the 2019 Nissan Maxima will be among the brand’s flagships in the country. It will start its journey in the North American market by the end of this year.

The current model of the Maxima was launched before three and half years and since then the facelift version was overdue. The full-size sedan is in the 8th generation. The “four-door sports car” comes with a radical design and gets a sharper look despite being a family car.

The 2019 Nissan Maxima comes with the same headlamps as the previous model. The “eyebrows” are upturned, while the car now features full LEDs. The strips of the LED daytime running lights now cover full length and look slimmer. The edge of the black nose section become sharper. The same thing can be seen in the V-motion “bowl”, which holds the Nissan badge.

The 2019 Nissan Maxima is expected to feature with LED fog lamps, which will be larger than the outgoing version. The silver-painted chin completes its aggressive look. The sedan runs on big gunmetal alloys and they do well with the red-colored four-door vehicle. In addition, the car also gets the signature DLO tail.

As for the safety, the 2019 Nissan Maxima comes with a suite of features, which are termed as Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology.

No further details are available for the vehicle yet. The outgoing model derives the power from a 3.5L V6 engine, which can make a maximum of 300 hp. The Xtronic CVT automatic transmission takes the responsibility to send the power to the wheels.
