China-specific Bentley Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase Limited Edition breaks cover

ABU DHABI: The British automaker has revealed the limited edition of the Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase with changes taken care of by the in-house division Mulliner. This edition is limited to China only, with 15 units to be made available for sale.

Two single-tone exterior finishes are on offer, Onyx and Black Velvet. While the former is a dark black finish with a hint of dark blue, the latter is a richer finish with a black base containing red pigments inspired by the colour of black cherries. 

The exterior finishes are hand-applied that are further accentuated with hand-painted gold fine line visible on the distinctive rear haunch and character line. Aside from this, some of the exterior highlights include Mulliner ‘Serenity’ grille with a double diamond quilt pattern and 21-inch ‘Radiance’ polished-finish 14-spoke wheels. 

Based on the standard Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase, the new limited edition model gets additional rear legroom of 250 mm. The cabin gets a range of handcrafted leathers, metals and veneers. A total of three interior themes are available, including Fireglow with Imperial Blue, Newmarket Tan with Burnt Oak and Shortbread with Redwood. 

Additional detailing inside the cabin includes London skyline embroidery that can be seen on all four seats and also on the front passenger veneer trim piece. For plusher entrance into the luxurious cabin, the British automaker has included bespoke welcome lamps along with the polished stainless steel Mulliner treadplates.
