Audi introduces next-gen Q5 with a brand-new platform

ABU DHABI: The Audi Q5, a best-seller in Europe and Germany for over 15 years, has now undergone a complete redesign. It is the first SUV based on the Premium Platform Combustion. With MHEV plus technology, it offers improved fuel efficiency, customizable digital light signatures, a state-of-the-art infotainment system, and advanced driver assistance features. The lineup will be joined by sporty Audi SQ5 at launch, with plug-in hybrid versions set to expand the range in the future.

The all-new 2025 Audi Q5 comes with a dual-screen setup with a 14.5-inch infotainment display and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster along with a configurable head-up display. For the front passenger, an optional 10.9-inch screen is being offered allowing them to access the infotainment system without any kind of distraction.

The exterior of the new Audi Q5 has been completely revamped. It aligns with Audi's latest design language. It comes with a smaller, new grille complemented by slimmer Matrix LED headlights. The redesigned front bumper gives the new Q5 a modern look. At the rear, the vehicle features a dual-tone bumper and connected LED tail lamps, enhancing its dynamic and sleek design. These updates give the Q5 a more sophisticated and modern appearance.

The new Audi Q5 is being offered in three powertrain options: a 204hp 2.0-litre diesel quattro, a 204hp 2.0-litre turbo-petrol with FWD or AWD, and a 367hp 3.0-litre V6 high-performance turbo-petrol in the SQ5. All engines are mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and a mild-hybrid 48V system that adds 24hp and 230Nm. Future models will be available with a plug-in hybrid option with external charging.

The starting price of the new Audi Q5 is around €52,300 (approximately AED 212,270).
