Engine, Braking and Variants

The swift sedan is configured in four exclusively desirable variants – Ambition 30, Ambition 40, Ambition 40

Quattro and Attraction 30, where all the variants are poured in life by a 4-cylinder in-line petrol engine with

direct fuel injection and exhaust gas turbocharger. The Ambition 30 and Attraction 30 variant are powered

by a 1,395 ccm engine which churns out a peak power of 125hp between 5000 to 6000 rpm and peak

torque of 200Nm between 1400 to 4000 rpm, while the Ambition 40 Quattro (honoured with the Audi's

soul quattro technology) and the Ambition 40 variant are powered by a 1798ccm engine which extracts a

maximum power of 180 hp between 4500 to 6200 rpm and maximum torque of 280Nm between 1350 to

4500 rpm from the fuel. The Ambition 40 Quattro reveals its dynamism with its acceleration values which

allows the car to attain a speed of 100kmph from naught in just 6.8 sec, without compromising in its fuel

economy by covering a strech of 100km in 6.5 litres of fuel.

Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous

The compact and sporty sedan does not leave any loop holes when it comes to the safety of its occupants.

The car is equipped with some fully-functional safety features like the Audi active lane assist, side assist,

adaptive braking assist with ABS (Antilock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution),

adaptive cruise control, parking assist, drive select, Isofix system and front and side airbags with kneebags

for driver and optional side airbags for rear passengers. Contributing to the braking and handling part of the

car, the sedan encases a braking system consisting of front and rear disc brakes and the car body is

supported on a suspension system consisting of front axle with McPherson struts and 4-link rear axle with

separate spring/damper arrangement.
