All-new Audi Q7 spotted testing; launch expected by 2026

ABU DHABI: Audi’s popular Q7 is getting ready for its next-generation model which is anticipated to be launched in 2026. Recently, the vehicle was spotted during testing overseas, revealing important details and features. While the company has not yet released official information about the next-gen Q7's launch, an announcement is expected soon.

Spy shots suggest that the exterior design of the upcoming Q7 will feature a more rounded shape compared to its predecessor. The images reveal a larger, enhanced grille adorned with a 3D logo, a split LED headlight setup and updated stylish alloy wheels. Despite the heavy camouflage, it is anticipated that the next-gen Audi Q7 will include trendy connected lights at both ends. Interestingly, it appears that the new SUV may be shorter than the current version.

Inside, the next-gen Q7 is expected to have a soft leather touch on the dashboard and an enhanced infotainment system. Expect a multi-functional steering wheel, touch-sensitive panel, ambient lighting, ventilated seats, and a wireless charger among other upgrades.

Internationally, the new Q7 will be available with both diesel and petrol engine options, all featuring mild-hybrid (MHEV), 48V technology. Some versions will come with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) setup, offering up to 100 km all-electric range. The SQ7 will be the top-tier version and is anticipated to launch after the standard models. These advancements will enhance efficiency and performance across the lineup.

As Audi gears up for the launch of the Q7, it aims to stand out with exceptional driving dynamics and innovative features to attract discerning customers.
