The Nissan Patrol XE, SE-T2, SE-TITANIUM and SE PLATINUM CITY variants are powered by a 3.8-litre naturally-aspirated V6 engine tuned to generate a maximum power of 316 hp and a peak torque of 386 Nm. It comes mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel-drive system.

The LE-T1, LE-T2, LE-TITANIUM, LE-TITANIUM + and LE PLATINUM CITY trims boast a new 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine derived from the GT-R supercar, which replaces the 5.6-litre V8 mill. Despite the smaller engine size, the new Patrol delivers more power, producing 425 hp and 700 Nm of torque, compared to the previous model's 405 PS and 560 Nm. The automaker has also replaced the 7-speed transmission with a new 9-speed automatic gearbox.

Notably, the new engine is part of the brand’s ‘VR’ family of V6 engines, known for their use in high-performance models like the GT-R and the Nissan Z coupe.

In terms of off-road capabilities, Nissan has confirmed that the approach and departure angles of the vehicle now offer enhanced performance. The SUV is offered with an air suspension system with ride height variation up to 70 mm. The wading depth is estimated at 700 mm while the towing capacity is rated at 2000 kg.

The SUV comes with a full-time four-wheel drive system and a rear differential lock. Drivers can choose from a range of new modes, including Rock, Sand, Mud, Standard, Eco, and Sport.

Based on a new ladder-frame chassis, the 2025 Nissan Patrol is 35 mm longer at 5205 mm, and 35 mm wider at 2030 mm. The height and wheelbase remain unchanged at 1955 mm and 3075 mm, respectively.

In terms of design, the next-gen Nissan Patrol looks extremely bold and rugged thanks to its upmarket aesthetics. The taller front fascia incorporates an updated and wider 'V-motion' front grille featuring chrome horizontal bars. It is bracketed by new C-shaped LED headlights and daytime running lights.

Lending the new Patol a tough side look is a high window line and prominent side steps. The rear design aligns with the front with double C-shape tail lights and a prominent diffuser. Nissan has also added two new striking shades - Radiant White and Forest Green to the SUV’s colour palette.

Another key highlight is the ‘Invisible Bonnet’ technology, enabling drivers to see exactly where the front wheels are positioned, which is ideal for off-roading or parking in narrow spaces.

Inside the cabin, the all-new 2025 Nissan Patrol offers a 30% increased space with tons of new technologies and premium touches. The list includes -

    • A huge 28.6-inch display integrating a Google-powered 14.3-inch infotainment unit and a 14.3-inch digital instrument cluster
    • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
    • 7.0-inch head-up display
    • 12.3-inch rear entertainment screens
    • Segment-first biometric climate control system
    • 64-colour ambient lighting
    • Redesigned centre stack with a shift-by-wire button gear selector
    • Heated, cooled, and massaging front seats
    • Paddle shifters
    • Soft-touch leather upholstery
    • 12-speaker Klipsch-branded sound system

Making the new Nissan Patrol a safe SUV are advanced systems backed by a front radar sensor and 170-degree front camera. It also comes with the ProPilot crash-avoidance technology suite, including adaptive cruise control and lane-keep assist.

The new Nissan Patrol is expected to be launched in the UAE in November this year.  It is now available for booking at Nissan's partner network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region, with prices starting from USD 65,000 (approx AED 238,712).
