2025 Jeep Compass teased; global premiere soon

ABU DHABI: Stellantis has released the next-gen Jeep Compass teaser image that will make its debut globally in 2025. The third-generation Compass boasts a 4×4 drivetrain that will be entirely based on the STLA medium platform.

The teaser image reveals the next-gen Compass side profile. It features a more angular design and its front looks similar to other vehicles produced by Jeep. It has a flat roof and hood that seems to taper toward the rear, with added cladding and muscular flared wheel arches. 

From the front, a strong character line extends to the back, tapering at the rear door. The effect of the floating roof is enhanced by the quarter-glass surrounds and blacked-out D-pillars. The tail lamps are positioned horizontally and feature squarish borders, sitting below the rear glass and complementing the short rear overhang that merges with the tall bumper.

The STLA M platform will be utilized for the first time in an all-new Jeep SUV, which also supports models such as the Opel Grandland and Peugeot 5008/3008. Jeep has made the confirmation that the SUV will feature various multi-energy propulsion systems and four-wheel drive, compatible with plug-in hybrid, ICE, mild-hybrid, and fully electric options. The next-gen Citroën C5 Aircross will be based on this platform.

There is a chance that the new Compass won’t be launched in the UAE.
