Alongside, this stylish sedan is equipped with body colored rocker moldings and heated side view mirrors integrated with turn indicators and blind spot mirrors enhancing the side profile of this vehicle. Complementing the sporty character of Fusion, it comes with 16 and 17 inch alloy wheels painted with sparkle silver. Engine, mileage & variants

Ford Fusion comes in two different trim levels for its UAE customers, named as Fusion S and Fusion SE. Both of the variants are powered with two efficient petrol engine options which are 2.5-litre iVCT in-line 4 Engine and 2.0-litre EcoBoost® in-line 4 Engine. 2.5-litre iVCT in-line 4 Engine gives power output of 175 hp at 6000 rpm, with peak torque generated as 237 Nm in 4500 rpm. However, in case of 2.0-litre EcoBoost® in-line 4 Engine, the maximum power output measures as 240 hp at 5500 rpm along with high torque generated as 366 Nm at 3000 rpm. To improve the vehicle’s handling, these powerful engine is paired with 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. Trims with 2.5-litre engine takes fuel consumption of 10.7 l/100km in city areas and 6.9 l/100km on highways.

Safety, Braking and Miscellaneous

The new Ford Fusion, lets you to travel with maximum peace of mind, as it offers plentiful safety aspects for its occupants. This sedan comes employed with standard AdvanceTrac® electronic stability control with Brake-Actuated Traction Control improving the vehicle’s stability while providing a safe and secure ride. However, it is also provided with double airbag system for the driver and passenger. The braking system of this vehicle comprises of disc brakes for both front and rear pair of wheels. Also, it has MyKey and Personal Safety System introduced by the manufacturer, which increases the safety character. Verdict

Ford Fusion is an economical mid-size sedan offered with striking features as well as appealing interior design. The only negative can be its exterior profile which is not very distinct when it comes to the Ford stable of cars.
