Audi Q7 receives a big facelift

ABU DHABI: Audi Q7 is one of the best cars from the German company. Recently, Audi has given the car a big facelift. It has “substantially enhanced the dynamic attributes of the Q7,” as stated by the company. The vehicle will arrive in the European market in around mid-September. It will now be in line with the rest of the Q family, thanks to the facelift.

New Audi Q7

With this update, the car now has the big octagon-shaped singleframe of Audi. Two-part side air inlets have been redesigned as well. In addition to that, there are six upright slats that provide the structure. It has also received new lighting graphics and grille.

Q7 Dashboard

HD Matrix LED technology along with Audi laser light has been used for the headlights. At the rear, Audi has opted for a chrome strip that connects the technical-looking graphics with the taillights. The face of the car now resembles a less exaggerated version of the Audi Q8.

Audi Cabin

The company has offered an electromechanical active roll stabilization as an option as well. After that, there are adjustable stabilizers, which helps in minimizing body movements when driving on uneven roads. The company has claimed that it has minimized the tendency of the car to lean into the bend.

Audi Q7 Rear

Audi has also provided an all-wheel steering option. This feature enables the rear wheels to turn up by five degrees in the opposite direction, increasing agility in the process. When driving on the highway, the rear wheels steer in the same direction as the front ones. This, in turn, improves the stability of the car.

After the new update, the Audi Q7 will also see adaptive air suspension feature. It will provide variable ground clearance, which will enable the car to be taken on off-road excursions too.

Two 3.0-litre diesel engines will be up for choice at the time of the launch. Both the engines will deliver a power output of 231 hp and 286 hp respectively. Audi will also launch a 3.0-litre V6 TFSI petrol variant that will deliver a power output of 340 hp and also plug-in hybrid model later.
