2023 Toyota C-HR set to make debut on June 26

ABU DHABI: The all-new version of the Toyota C-HR will hit the global market on June 26. To give an idea of what is about to come, a six-second teaser has been released. 

The teaser gives a hint about the phenomenal design and impressive features of the upcoming SUV. The shadowy teaser showcases its name emblazoned in full between its tail lights. Brightening the picture reveals that the all-new Toyota C-HR carries the DNA of its predecessor, the first-generation Toyota C-HR.

Toyota used the C-HR Prologue concept to give an insight into the upcoming C-HR. The concept features a fastback-like profile. At the Los Angeles Auto Show 2022, the bZ Compact SUV Concept was showcased by Toyota, wherein it featured an exterior similar to the Prologue Concept.

Let’s take a look at what to expect from the all-new version of the Toyota C-HR as per the teaser:

• A roof spoiler and a shark fin
• A ‘Toyota C-HR’ inscription emblazoned in full between its tail lights
• The rear silhouette showcases its unique design with full LED rear lights

The new C-HR seems to be associated with the latest Prius small car. The powertrains include a more-powerful 2.0-litre hybrid from the Corolla Cross and a 1.8-litre hybrid version. The current C-HR comes with a 1.8-litre petrol-electric hybrid or 1.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol borrowed from the sedan and Corolla hatch.
