2020 Nissan Patrol spied in Middle East
ABU DHABI: The ongoing generation of Nissan Patrol has been around for nearly a decade now. In spite of that, everyone still appreciates it despite its age. However, it seems that a fresh look is just around the corner. Now, you can have our first glimpse at the 2020 Patrol that is spied in the Middle East.
The spy shots revealed that the front end had been granted a robust redesign. For example, the squared-off headlamps make way for new C-shaped units, slightly matching the Elgrand. In an attempt to provide it with added road presence, they've made the grill more enormous, which now casts into the centre of the bumper. Talking about the bumper, that's been modified too with faux air intakes, more chiseled corners, and brushed chrome effect details.
However, it's not only the front that's been modified. Over at the rear, there's a distinct set of tail lights, now applying a more extended, wraparound design. Even the tailgate comes with new sheet metal and added character lines that before. The rear also gets a more chiseled and defined bumper, just like the front. Additionally, the spoiler features a bit of enhancement as well. The remainder appears to be untouched, although it is using a distinct set of alloy wheels.
There are no spy shots of the interior at the moment, but it could get some enhancements inside the cabin as well. Possibly, it might flaunt a new infotainment system that completely blends with the Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety suite. Moreover, the dashboard itself is likely to get an update as well. Currently, there is no information if there will be any changes to the 5.6-litre V8. This engine is known as the VK56VD, and it can churn out a maximum power of 400 PS and the peak torque is 560 Nm.
