2020 BMW 7 Series facelift leaked
ABU DHABI: Just ahead of the official reveal, the photos of the 2020 BMW 7 Series facelift have been leaked. It is likely that the updated luxury sedan from the fleet of German automaker will be showcased at the 2019 NAIAS (North American International Auto Show). And the leaked images make it even more evident, not sure though.
The images that have surfaced the Internet seem to be press images with both front and rear ends visible quite clearly. This is very much unlike the ones posted by an Instagram user named Stan Rudman recently, wherein the sedan was wrapped inside a camouflage cover.
The images reveal that almost every angle of the new BMW 7 Series facelift has been treated for a completely refreshed appearance. The sedan gets a bigger trademark kidney grille at the front along with a sleeker pair of LED headlights. The front bumper has been overhauled for a sportier look, features larger air intakes.
At the back, treatments are subtle. As a part of modification spree, the rear section gets sleeker wrap-around taillights with LEDs and a reworked bumper. Rest appears to the same as before.
The sides now embrace a more upright trim piece, which is regarded as the ‘hockey stick’ trim piece by a lot of automobile enthusiasts. It is also bigger than what we have witnessed before.
The official reveal of the BMW 7 Series facelift is due to take place. And with press images been out, could this be a hint at the showcase of the updated sedan at the upcoming auto show NAIAS in Detroit? It seems like, but we’ll have to wait until the official word is out. The auto show starts from 14th of this month.
