2019 Hyundai Santa Fe launched in Jordan

ABU DHABI: The Hyundai Santa Fe is a very important model from the company’s perspective as it was their first-ever SUV and was launched in 2001. At the time of the launch, it competed with the likes of the Nissan X-Trail, Toyota RAV-4 and the popular Honda CR-V. The company has now launched the 2019 Santa Fe in Jordan.

This new Santa Fe (fourth generation) has a good makeover in the designing. It looks way more aggressive than ever before, thanks to the large front grille with sharp illumination on its adjacent sides. However, there are just the DRLs in this spot and the headlamps have been moved lower on the bumper. The length of the car has also seen a bump and there are 19-inch alloy wheels now.

On the inside, things look very comfortable and plush, thanks to the dual-tone brown appeal. The dashboard looks very informative with a lot of button bits on it. The touchscreen display is a head-up unit that reduces the driver’s distraction off the road. The cabin is very spacious and offers a good amount of leg and headroom, thanks to the increased dimension.

The touchscreen display has Apple Carplay and Android Auto along with navigation. Dual-zone automatic climate control makes sure that the comfort level is on the high, always.

The Middle Eastern model of the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe would be offered with two engine options - a 2.4-litre and a 3.5-litre V6. The smaller engine would be capable of making a good power of 172 PS while the bigger unit would be able to thump out 280 PS. 6-speed and 8-speed auto gearboxes will be offered for the 2.4-litre and 3.5-litre respectively.

Considering the rocky areas of Jordan, the new Santa Fe is perfectly equipped with everything so that it can confidently undertake the challenges.
