The new Hyundai Azera is made available with an efficient 3.0-litre Lamda V6 MPI engine and a smaller 2.4-litre MPI engine. Optimizing the balance between power and environmental performance, the V6 engine is coupled with 6-speed automatic transmission offering better handling to the driver. The 3.0 litre Lamda MPI is capable of producing the maximum power of 250 PS at 6400 rpm, and the peak torque of about 284 Nm in 5300 rpm whereas its 2.4-litre sibling clocks 180 PS at 6000 revs with a max torque of 231 Nm at 4000 rpm. The bigger 3.0-litre engine delivers a fair mileage of 10.4 kmpl. Moreover, this sedan takes 8.4 seconds to reach the speed mark from 0 to 100 kmph, while the top speed remains at 223 kmph.
