Stellantis introduces next-gen STLA large EV platform
ABU DHABI: Stellantis N.V. is all set to transform the future of electric vehicles with the launch of its next-gen STLA Large platform, a BEV-native foundation. It is equipped with high-performance "extreme" powertrains and offers an 800 km range. It is associated with the STLA Medium, which was earlier seen in the Peugeot e-3008 SUV. It is adaptable to hybrid powertrains, is BEV-native, and supports multiple drive configurations.

In the next decade, Stellantis is planning to invest over €50 billion keeping up with its commitment to electrification. Stellantis is also planning to launch 48 BEVs by 2024 and by 2038 it is aiming to become a carbon net zero corporation.
Stellantis has not made any announcement about introducing an STLA-based model to the UAE. We will have to wait to see how Stellantis positions itself in the evolving UAE automotive market with its innovative electric offerings.
