New Jeep headquarter opened in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI: Jeep is one of the first choices when it comes to buying a vehicle that offers amazing off-roading skills. However, when it is about availability, the band has limited number of showrooms in the country making the possession journey quite hectic. With the plan to expand its reach and growth in the UAE market a new Jeep dealership has opened its doors.

Western Motors, the only distributor of Mopar, Jeep, and Fiat in the Emirates of Abu Dhabi.  And they along with the ALFAHIM group opened new Jeep headquarters in Abu Dhabi. This new facility is spread over an area of 1,975 sqm, spacious enough to house all the latest Jeep cars.

Group Head of Business Development of Al Fahim, Mohammad Abdullah Al Fahim, said, “We started 42 years ago amidst Abu Dhabi’s downtown district when we operated under the name Al Jallaf Trading. Fast forward to 2018, Western Motors’ new and modern facility is only the first among ALFAHIM’s automotive developments and strategic growth plan in the emirate.”

What however steal the show was the all-new 2018 Jeep Compass. The Compass was recently introduced at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show, it stood at the newly opened showroom all decorated ready to meet prospective buyers.

The new Compass is slotted between the Wrangler and Renegade in the Jeep UAE lineup and is the most affordable SUV the brand has to offer. Recognised for its excellent on-road and off-road capabilities, this car features a precise steering and a fully-independent suspension.

The Jeep Compass is available in three variants - Longitude, Trailhawk, and Limited. All the trims are powered by a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder TIGERSHARK petrol engine. Coupled with a 9-speed automatic gearbox, this mill produces a maximum power of 174 PS along with a peak torque of 237 Nm. With a top speed of 185 kmph, the Compass touches the ton mark in 9.1 seconds.
