Lincoln Navigator first appearance in the Middle East
ABU DHABI: Lincoln dealerships across the Middle East will soon witness the arrival of all-new 2018 Lincoln Navigator. A car that combines ultimate class with advanced technology and eye-catching design. The American automaker will shortly introduce the Middle East market to class-leading refinement and luxury with the debut of its full-size SUV.
Alex Schaeffer, Director of Lincoln Middle East, said, "The all-new Navigator represents the most exciting introduction in the brand’s history, and its arrival to the Middle East has been our customers’ most anticipated yet. The full-size Navigator delivers on Middle East customer's top three wants in a luxury SUV: Power, Prestige, and Presence."
The new Navigator has lavishly designed interiors carved with Venetian leather, Alcantara straight from Milan, and Ziricote(a kind of grained wood from South America). The Lincoln represents a sense of pure luxury for its customers. It also offers sufficient legroom space in all the three rows. Included in the package is a storage space in each row and an adjustable shelf just behind the rear seats. All this to keep the vehicle’s cabin comfortable and clean.
Design director of Lincoln, David Woodhouse said, "When designing the new Navigator, we put emphasis on ultra-luxury touch points. We took everything the client would see and touch and made sure it would look and feel a little more exuberant, a little more indulgent, and incredibly beautiful.”
In addition to the personal user profiles linked to the key fob, the 2018 Navigator also offers more than 70 entertainment and comfort features. It is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged engine that delivers a maximum power of450 hp and a peak torque of 691 Nm. The vehicle claims to hit 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.9 seconds and is marked at a top speed of 185 kmph.
The vehicle comes with a 10-speed transmission that offers a refined power delivery across the wheels and seamless gear changes. By simply rotating the dial, the Navigator can adjust to changing road and weather conditions. Exclusive to the Middle East, Lincoln has added a Deep Sand mode for those who enjoy time on a path less travelled.
Post the commencement of new Navigator deliveries in the UAE, now the six remaining emirates will soon get their share of Lincoln luxury.
