Lamborghini Day Japan had over 200 Lambos

ABU DHABI: The underground car scene in Japan is already quite astounding. And to everyone’s delight, Lamborghini recently held the Lamborghini Day Japan at the Yokohama Super Factory film studio.

In Japan, you will find Lamborghinis and the Japanese Lamborghinis. What do we mean by the Japanese Lamborghinis? Well, you can witness a Lamborghini in a Pikachu avatar in Japan. We guess that sums up what we meant there. The event held was made even more important by the presence of Stefano Domenicali, who is the chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ was also presented for the first time in the Asia Pacific during the event. The Aventador SVJ had already arrived earlier this year at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The super-sportscar, with lap-time of 6:44.97, holds a lap record at Nürburgring-Nordschleife as well.

Over 200 Lamborghinis which included the likes of Miura, Countach, LM002, Aventador, Huracan, and others were present at the event. The cars also drove near the event area in Yokohama. A fundraising auction was also organised at the event for the people who suffered during the natural catastrophes in Japan.
