Khann Design makes cosmetic changes on the Land Cruiser
ABU DHABI: Land Cruisers are awesome on their own. However, if you still wish to get yours’ upgraded with a new body kit, you will not be required to kill your desires any further. The Khann Car Design from Russia has an answer to this as it brings its Khann HRS Sport, which is a body kit upgrade of the Land Cruiser LC200.
Speaking about the HRS Sport Land Cruiser, there are more aggressive and chiselled headlights. The front bumper is extremely sculpted with a wider front grille that is built with a unique design. It also gets a new set of LED DRLs. The wheel arches are extremely prominent and flared and are made by Khann in-house.
The rear bumper of the HRS Sport Land Cruiser is also customised with dual square-ish exhaust tips at both the ends. The rear spoiler and alloy wheel arches are also custom-made and are available in three different designs.
However, since the Khann HRS Sport Land Cruiser is just a styling body kit, there aren’t any changes made in the mechanism by the company. There is still the same potent 4.5-litre engine with two turbochargers and a V8 cylinder alignment. This motor manages to produce a good power of 268 PS along with a peak torque which goes up to a massive 650 Nm.
The mechanism is the same on the transmission with the six-speed automatic gearbox channelising the power to all the four wheels. However, the Middle Eastern market gets a different engine spec of the Toyota Land Cruiser. Here, there is a smaller 4.0-litre, V6 engine making 271 PS power and 385 Nm of torque. As for the transmission, there is a 5-speed manual to go with the 6-speed automatic gearbox.
