Jannarelly Design-1 revealed, only 499 examples to enter in production-line
Jannarelly has revealed a rear-drive, retro-styled, two-seat roadster, Jannarelly Design-1. The Co-Founder of Jannarelly Automotive, Anthony Jannarelly apparently informed that he always wanted to build a car like it that provides an excellent driving performance. The coaster will be showcased at the Salon Privé Concours in London, which will start from early September. The brand also informs that it is planning to bring only 499 examples of it to the customers.
David Bagley, the co-founder and sales director of Salon Privé, commented regarding this, “I’m thrilled that Anthony and Thomas Ceccaldi, Director of Jannarelly Paris have selected our event to launch the thrilling Design-1 to the UK market. In spite of our continued growth, we have been able to maintain the ambience and atmosphere that makes Salon Privé such a unique boutique event and it is this environment that I believe is perfect for presenting such a specialized brand as Jannarelly.”
Returning to the sportscar, Jannarelly Design-1 is made from the inspiration of 1960’s elements. It is powered by a Nissan 3.5-litre V6 engine, which is capable of churning out a maximum power of 320 hp and the peak torque is at 370 Nm. Starting from 0, the car is capable to hit the 100 kmph mark in just 3.9 seconds. It can achieve a top speed of 220 kmph.
The new Jannarelly Design-1 is built in the manufacturer’s Dubai factory and is constructed with lightweight materials such as aluminium, carbon fibre, and glass fibre. Other notable features include an optional carbon fibre hardtop, lightweight carbon fibre seats, Willwood brakes, structural aluminium panels for the chassis, 16-inch alloy lightweight rims, four-point quick-release harness seats, and optional traction control.
Speaking of the pricing, the car with carbon fibre hardtop comes with a starting price tag of £85,000, which is equivalent to AED388,468 in the UAE.
