1. Design
Looks make the first impression and Elantra makes a statement on-road, thanks to its evolved design language and svelte silhouette accentuated by bold creases. First up, the large Elantra exterior dimensions hint at the size of the sedan. Speaking more on Hyundai Elantra’s styling, chrome finishing is done just right which can be seen on the front hexagonal grille and other areas. The swooping headlamps exude sharpness and reiterate aggression on the face which also features rounded fog lamps on the lower bumper.
Moving to the side, the premium chrome door handles and thin chrome lining on the window frame bring elegance to the styling, while the meaty multi-spoke alloys demonstrate its strength to take on tough terrains. The rear too is styled in the same fashion as the front and side facets; the talking point at the back is the modern wrap-around tail-lamps. Other key elements such as an integrated lip-spoiler, reflectors and steeply raked in tail-lamps complete the rear styling.
2. Sliding floor console
While aesthetics create the first impression, cabin comfort is equally vital as occupants spend a large part of their journey inside, hence an ergonomically designed interior combining style and practicality ensures a comfortable experience. One of the highlights inside is the floor console with a sliding top that can be adjusted back and forth as per the driver’s convenience. Given that the driver’s comfort is utmost this smartly designed element inside is a savior, especially when one has to stay behind the steering wheel for a long time.
3. Airbag cushioning
Safety is paramount and Hyundai has packed Elantra with a comprehensive seven airbag system that provides both driver and passengers proper cushioning at both ends. At the front, there are airbags for the driver, knee airbag for the co-passenger/driver and two front side airbags. Besides, there are two curtain airbags that cover the whole length of the cabin. This airbag system bolsters the entire car, ensuring maximum protection for the occupants in case of injuries.

The seat warming function at the rear seats allows passengers to adjust the temperature of their seats to keep them warm during cold days. This feature is usually seen in higher-end models, and hence keep Elantra above rivals in terms of comfort.
