Ferrari 812 Superfast gets visual upgrade courtesy Novitec

ABU DHABI: Novitec, a German tuning company, has given a fresh look to the Ferrari 812 Superfast which not only suits but impresses as well. A fairly shiny body, new aesthetic enhancement components, carbon fibre package - this aftermarket Ferrari has it all.

With the stock V12 6.5-litre engine under the hood but in the tuned form for enhanced performance, the Ferrari 812 Superfast by Novitec benefits from new, upgraded shoes that have been developed by Vossen. At the front axle, the dia measures 21 inches while at the back it measures 22 inches.

The Ferrari 812 Superfast sits 35 mm lower than the stock version with sport springs that also helps in improving the centre of gravity. The new rims complement the overall aesthetic of the car perfectly and they don’t seem to be overdone.

Cosmetically, the Ferrari 812 Superfast adds a carbon fibre package that not only improves performance but pays attention to increasing efficiency. The pack includes glossy front spoiler lip that is also offered in a matte finish, new side mirror caps, dual air outlets on the bonnet, a rear spoiler lip, and custom-made rocker panels.

An interesting upgrade - when passing over bumps, you can raise the nose of the car to up to 40 mm by pressing a button from the cabin itself. This will prevent you from breaking or damaging the front bumper of the 812 Superfast.

At the rear, the new exhaust system is now lighter than the standard stock. Made up of 110 mm tailpipes finished in polished or matte stainless steel, it weighs 11 kgs lighter than the system fitted on the stock car. There are active flaps available for you to alter the sound of the exhaust, which uses Inconel superalloy sourced from Formula 1.

Inside the tuner offers you to choose from Alcantara finishes and leather touches, carbon fibre highlights, and multiple interior color options.

Under the hood, Nivotec is said to be working on the realized power of the Ferrari 812 Superfast. The stock Ferrari 812 Superfast pumps out a max power of 800 PS and a peak torque of 718 Nm. It is capable of sprinting to 100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds and 200 kmph mark in 7.9 seconds before hitting its top mark at 340 kmph.
