Bugatti teases the new Divo ahead of its debut
ABU DHABI: The Bugatti Divo is presently the talk of the frame for people who are completely into insanely fast cars. This car is expected to make its official debut next month.
However, before the debut happens, Bugatti has teased the car yet again on their official Facebook page. There were a small video and an image of the new car which reveal a lot about this upcoming sensation.
The new Bugatti is a more handling-focused car than the Chiron Sport. It is named after Albert Divo, who is a legendary racing driver from France and is distinctly known to have won Targa Floria, a very tough and challenging race, twice during his time, that is, 1920.
The upcoming Bugatti Divo will have a custom-built body that will still be based on the same chassis and platform as the Chiron. However, a number of revisions will still be in place. Moreover, the company says that it will have a beastly handling, which would be complemented with a design that would thrill. The car will be a lot lesser in terms of the body weight, only to make it more agile and nimble.
Much of the aesthetic design and downforce precision has been achieved with the improved aerodynamics. Bugatti says that the suspension has also been revised greatly, which goes hand-in-hand with the weight reduction to keep the handling in wonderful shape.
Mechanically, the new Bugatti Divo will have the same engine as the Chiron and the Chiron Sport. This means the same 8.0-litre W16 engine will be provided, which would be capable of making 1,500 PS of power and 1,600 Nm of torque.
All of this gives that one hint that supercar enthusiasts would never like. A car of this calibre would not be affordable for all. Plus, it could come in very limited number, and there are chances that only 40 units would be up for sale.
