The 2026 Toyota RAV4 GR Sport has made its global debut, and it’s not just another facelift. Toyota has taken its best-selling RAV4 and handed it over to GAZOO Racing (GR) to spice things up.

The result is a bolder design, an all-new plug-in hybrid powertrain, and a feature-packed cabin. This sportier take on the RAV4 is expected to launch in the UAE by the end of 2025, and here's everything you need to know.

GR Design Upgrades That Turn Heads

Toyota has used its racing division GR’s design language to create a more aggressive version of the standard RAV4. The new GR Sport trim features a dual-tone Supersonic Red paint job with a piano black roof, side mirrors, and a roof spoiler.

The standout visual elements include a new GR-spec front grille, vertical LED lights on the bumper, gloss black and silver inserts, and a bold rear design with GR badging on the boot. Even the 20-inch black alloy wheels come wrapped in grippy rubber, giving it a solid performance stance.

Cabin Layout Gets the GR Treatment

Inside, the RAV4 GR Sport follows a dark-grey theme with premium leather seats stitched in red. The GR branding is present on the steering wheel and seat headrests, subtly reminding you of the SUV’s sporty intent.

Toyota also claims an EV-only driving range of 80 km, making it a fuel-efficient option in the midsize SUV space. While full specs are yet to be released, the numbers so far promise strong performance and impressive efficiency.

Expected UAE Launch and Price

Currently available in the US, the RAV4 GR Sport is expected to arrive in the UAE by late 2025. Positioned as the top-tier variant, it may be priced upwards of AED 150,000 once launched.
