2025 Kia Sportage L makes its debut in the UAE

ABU DHABI: Kia Africa and Middle East has launched the Kia Sportage L which is a long-wheelbase addition to its SUV lineup. With its innovative features and impressive upgrades, the Sportage L is all set to redefine the mid-size SUV market. 

The new version boasts a class-leading wheelbase (+155 mm) and an extended body, providing enhanced interior space for added practicality and comfort. The luggage compartment, with the second-row seats folded, offers up to 1,829 litres of capacity, making it ideal for daily use and family adventures.

Over five generations, the Kia Sportage has sold approximately 7 million units, solidifying its global presence over the past 30 years. Known for its value, reliability, and innovation, the introduction of the Sportage L underscores Kia's commitment to adapting to market trends and meeting diverse customer needs.

The 2025 Kia Sportage L is available in three variants in the UAE: LX, EX, and SX.

The Grand Sportage LX trim includes features such as daytime running lamps, LED headlamps, a roof rack, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a rear spoiler. The EX trim adds mirror indicators, 18-inch alloy wheels, and a panoramic sunroof. The top SX model comes with 19-inch alloy wheels and a powered tailgate.

In terms of safety, the SX trim is equipped with standard features such as stability control, front airbags, parking sensors, and a rearview camera. Both the SX and EX trims offer additional side, front, and curtain airbags. The SX also includes advanced safety features like lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision avoidance, a surround-view monitor, and blind spot monitoring.

The Sportage L comes in two high-performance powertrains including a 2.0T engine with 233 hp and a 1.5T engine with 197 hp. Both are mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission. 

Pricing for the 2025 Kia Sportage L starts at AED 99,654 for the SX 1.5-litre turbo variant, with the top LX trim priced at AED 138,495. The 2.0-litre turbo model starts at AED 113,400 and goes up to AED 149,100.
