KIA Pegas Interior & Features
Step inside the Kia Pegas and the cabin of the sedan looks a familiar sight, for it has been shared with the Picanto hatchback. The cabin comes with a dual-tone black and grey theme for the cabin, and even the equipment list of the Pegas has been shared with the Picanto, which makes it feel very basic for a sedan.
The driver’s cockpit of the Pegas looks simple and functional with a three-spoke steering wheel and a conventional instrument console with an LCD MID in the middle. Along with the lower spoke of the steering wheel, the inner door handles and surrounds for the transmission lever come with a satin silver finish. Meanwhile, the surrounds for the centre console and AC vents have a chrome finish. The upper centre console has rounded edges and includes vertical AC vents with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system in between them. The lower centre console incorporates controls for the manual AC.
In addition to the features mentioned above, the decent equipment list of the Kia Pegas includes audio and Bluetooth controls on the steering wheel, sunroof, front centre armrest, cup holders and height-adjustable driver’s seat.
Pegas Exterior
The Kia Pegas is based on the Korean carmaker’s smallest offering globally, the Picanto hatchback, and it is evident from the way it looks, especially at the front. While the front profile of the Pegas is more or less shared with that of the hatchback, Kia has made praiseworthy changes to the side and rear profile, which look very distinctive from the Picanto.
At the front, the Kia Pegas gets a sleek and long ‘tiger-nose’ grille with a chrome finish on its upper and lower edges. The grille is flanked by large block-themed headlamps, which look basic with their all-halogen setup. The trapezoidal air dam in the middle of the front bumper has rounded edges and comes with rounded fog lamps in its lower inner corners. The outer corners of the front bumper come with vertical air curtain intakes in a gloss black finish.
As mentioned above, the side profile of the Pegas looks notably different from that of the Picanto, and in the process, it looks neat and proportionate from both front and rear three-quarter angles. The rounded wheel arches and clean-looking door panels look simple, with the Pegas getting pull-back type chrome door handles, rearview mirrors with integrated LED indicators, and 14-inch alloy wheels in the higher-spec variant.
The rear profile of the Kia Pegas looks very basic and might remind you that it is a car that is built to a specific cost. The design of the boot lid looks clean and uncluttered, with its side edges getting wing-shaped tail lamp clusters, which are also all-halogen units.

While the Kia Pegas is not a car that might impress driving enthusiasts in a full-fledged manner, the overall driving mannerisms of this compact sedan are decent.
