2019 Escalade Sport Edition to be available in the UAE by June 2019

ABU DHABI: 2019 Escalade Sport Edition, a new car has been added in the line-up of vehicles offered by Cadillac in the Middle East. With blacked-out and meaner elements, the new Sport version is the first special edition vehicle introduced by the automaker for its award-winning SUV in this region of the world.

The Cadillac Escalade is one of the most admired and bought Cadillac vehicles in the Gulf and with the introduction of a new Sport version, the sales are only expected to rise.

Talking about the SUV, the Sport edition features glossy black outside look with components like body side and window mouldings, and front grille all finished in black. The standard 22-inch wheels come with Midnight Silver that upscales the exterior appearance.

Under the hood, the 2019 Escalade Sport houses a V8 6.2-litre petrol engine that pumps out a max power of 426 PS, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Cadillac claims a speed of 170 kmph. All the Escalade models along with the Sport trim come with a four-wheel-drive system.

On the features front, the Escalade Sport gets a complete range of connectivity features just like other models of the fleet. There is the brand’s User Experience system (popularly known as CUE - Cadillac User Experience) with navigation, 12.3-inch diagonal instrument console, automatic parking assist, a 16-speaker BOSE Centerpoint sound system, and Magnetic Ride Control that comes with different driving modes that can be switched by the driver while on the move.

Moreover, it gets hands-free liftgate with logo illumination, leather-wrapped steering wheel with heating functionality, heated and cooled front seats, and heated bucket seats in the second row.
