Nissan Navara Pickup

Given that it is a pickup truck, the Nissan Navara successfully breaks the pickup truck code by seeming big and boxy, which lends the vehicle a threatening aspect. The Navara has a three-partitioned "V-motion" chrome grille, which it shares with other renowned Nissan SUVs like the powerful Patrol. To give the frontal look some premium appeal, the large boxy headlamps are merged with LED projector headlamps and daytime running LEDs. The fog lamps also have chrome surrounds, which gives them a more upscale appearance.

With no distinctive lines or wrinkles on the side doors, the Nissan Navara has the classic pickup truck appearance from the side. On the other hand, the Navara makes an effort to keep up its enormous appeal from the sides as well, thanks to the sizable 18-inch alloy wheels. The Navara boasts a sizable loading area in the back that leads to an elegantly crafted rear hatch. The rear bumper has a substantial faux aluminium garnish compared to the front.

Nonetheless, the 5-inch music system panel has a great pattern of buttons all around it, giving it a subtle, vintage feel. The manual AC controls, which work in tandem with the rear AC vents to ensure optimal cooling, are located below the music system. Leather interior, a power-adjustable driver's seat, and keyless entry with push-button start are a few other items that do distinguish the Navara as a premium vehicle.

The Nissan Navara, like all other pickup trucks, is not designed to provide you an incredibly comfortable ride; instead, it must be robust and rock solid in all conditions, which it admirably achieves. The Navara feels slightly stiff but stable in all driving conditions thanks to independent dual wishbone, coil spring, and stabiliser bar suspension setups at the front and rear, respectively.

The Nissan Navara is available with two different engine options for the UAE market. The 2.5-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine, which we will discuss first, generates 244 Nm of torque and 168 PS of power. The 2.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, on the other hand, can produce a whopping 403Nm of maximum torque and 161PS of maximum power at its maximum capacity. Both engines are available with the choice of a 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrain. The diesel engine is only supplied with the latter, whilst the petrol engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed automatic gearbox.

Dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, vehicle dynamic control, hill start assist, hill descent control, and ISOFIX mounts are all included in the Nissan Navara's list of safety features. We were anticipating the Navara to include more active safety measures, though, given how quickly the competition is catching up.

Although the interior of the Nissan Navara seems luxurious and has a dramatic design with luxury accents, it lacks some of the trendy and new features that are progressively becoming the industry standard. Yet, the engine seems powerful, and the customary unbreakable feel and durability, as well as go-anywhere capabilities make the Navara feel attractive after you crank up the engine.
