The Nissan 370Z Roadster has a leather-wrapped steering wheel as standard in all the trims. As for the comfort of the occupants, full automatic air-conditioning is also included in the package. The seats are comfortable and are 4-way power adjustable for both the driver and front passenger. The steering wheel has a lot of control buttons, including phone controls.

The 3.7-litre V6 engine can churn out 330 horsepower and peak torque of 366 Nm. With such power on the throttle, the car can hit a top speed of 250 kmph with a 0-100 acceleration in just 5.3 seconds.

And for the transmission, Nissan offers two option in the form of a manual and an automatic. The automatic gearbox is a 7-speed unit and comes with a paddle shifter as well. On the other hand, the 6-speed manual transmission is for the purists and has the SynchroRev Match feature. This helps the driver handle the gearing like a pro.

For the safety of the occupants, there are dual front airbags along with the ones on the doors and curtains too. Additional braking power comes from the anti-lock braking system along with electronic brakeforce distribution. What the latter does is that it detects additional weight on the wheels (in case you have luggage in the boot) and sends additional braking power as needed.

Another interesting driver’s assistance comes in the form of Vehicle Dynamic Control, which comes in handy to detect understeer or oversteer and reduces power and applies brakes on the needed wheels to keep the car on the right track.

The Nissan 370Z Roadster is definitely something that deserves a lot more attention. It is the more affordable option over the Porsche Boxter and the Mercedes-Benz SLC-Class, being more powerful than them, though the bigger engine variant of the Porsche is marginally more powerful.
