Introduction:
Mitsubishi Lancer Fortis is a Japanese automobile creation produced in the year 2007. The car is the successor of Mitsubishi Lancer, which is known with different names in the countries world-wide. In the year 2007, its most recent variant was launched in Taiwan. Due to its demand in other auto-markets as well, company continued to sell Lancer Fortis in some other selected countries. But, still there is discretion in the variants available in the countries. In UAE, it is available in two trim levels packed packed with 1.8-litre MIVEC engine.

It is available in two variants – GLS and GLX, which are equipped with a 1.8-litre engine, in-lined 4-cylinder, 16-valve DOHC, MIVEC that churns out power output of 143PS at 6000rpm along with the peak torque of 178Nm at 4250rpm. It is coupled with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) the car can reach from 0-100 Kmph in 11.7 seconds and has a top speed of 185 Kmph. The engine manages to deliver a mileage count of 13.8 kmpl, in a combined driving cycle, which is fairly decent.
