The cabin of the 2024 MG RX8 Black Edition is plush. It gets all-black, high-quality leather seats from the German company Bader. The car comes with theater-style seating. The design incorporates a front-to-rear gradient that allows third-row passengers to look straight out of the front windscreen with no obstruction. The dashboard gets soft-touch black plastics. Some hard plastics have been used on the door insides but that doesn't upset the cabin's overall look and feel. The dashboard and the central console have simple and clean buttons that are easily reachable. The quality is decent and the buttons are covered in leather. The 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit has a crisp and clear display. It gets eight high-quality speakers. There's a 7.0-inch digital instrument display. There are 37 storage compartments. Both seats get multi-level electric adjustment, with memory, heating, and cooling function. All seven seats get nice padding. The second row gets enough space to accommodate three adults. Its adjustable reach is 230mm, helping third-row passengers get enough space to enter and exit. The third row isn't exactly spacious and is more suited for children and short-height adults. While the suspension system absorbs most of the potholes and bumps, the car has a good amount of body roll. The dual-zone climate control cools the car fast. 

The 2024 MG RX8 Black Edition is hauled by a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 220 PS/360 Nm. The motor is mated to a four-wheel-drive six-speed automatic. The car is mounted on a body-on-frame chassis, and the RX8 Black Edition drives like a proper, rugged SUV. The powertrain is a bit sluggish. But once it gets into the groove, ride quality is pleasant. 

The 2024 MG RX8 Black Edition comes with a number of driver-assist features and safety equipment. It gets all-around parking sensors, a rear-view camera, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automated emergency braking, and lane-keep assistance. It gets multiple airbags and child seat anchors.

The 2024 MG RX8 Black Edition is a tough and rugged car with handsome looks. It has a spacious cabin and is feature-packed. The all-black interior theme makes the car look premium. It's a nice option for those who want an SUV that stands out from the crowd.
