The rear seat is bench-type and accommodating three adults will cause rubbing of shoulders. Two is a more comfortable number. Rear passengers get small door bins and two air vents. But there’s only one charging port and no fold-down armrest for added comfort. The rear seats fold down as a single unit, which means, none can sit at the back in case a larger boot space is required. The rear windows are large and makes the cabin feel roomy.

The 2024 MG 3 is hauled by a four-cylinder, 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 102PS/142Nm. The motor is mated to a three-speed automatic. The hybrid setup comprises if a 100kW electric motor. The 2024 MG 3 revs higher than expected with a coarse sound. The suspension is firm but not uncomfortable. It absorbs most of the lumps and bumps.
