There are five different full leather upholstery options to choose from for the Genesis G90, namely Obsidian Black, dual-tone Obsidian Black with Bordeaux Brown, dual-tone Urban Brown with Glacier White, dual-tone Galaxy Black with Modern Grey and dual-tone Velvet Burgundy with Dune Beige.

The cabin of the Genesis G90 welcomes you with its most innovative highlight being the 12.3-inch full-TFT instrument console laid out within a horizontally-stretched panoramic screen and a head-up display above it. The cabin of the G90 feels super-rich with the comfortable leather seats with optimal seat designs, with the rear seats also offered with additional convenience features like a separate 8-inch console screen for the infotainment system, dual 10.2-inch digital interface screens, mood curator, virtual venue. The dial-type shift-by-wire knob is made of G-Matrix real glass, giving it an impression of an expensive jewellery.

The additional features gracing the cabin of the Genesis G90 include 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, touch-type climate control panel, UV light-sterlized armrest box, electrically-controlled and ventilated front and second-row seats, lounge seating and foot rests for the rear seats, wireless charger and more.

Following the ‘athletic elegance’ design language of Genesis, the G90 is a great mix of elegance and distinctiveness in its overall visual appeal on the outside. The design looks extremely bold and very different from the sedans which we have come across in all these years.

The front profile of the Genesis G90 is dominated by the two uniquely-designed highlights – front grille and headlamps. The car gets a bold-looking crest-shaped grille, which gets chrome surrounds and diamond-shaped chrome inserts. The grille is flanked by two-line MLA (micro lens array) all-LED headlamps, which look super sleek and sharp in their appearance. The front bumper also looks very different with its bulging-out design towards outside. 

The side profile of the Genesis G90 is characterised by interesting highlights like a clamshell hood and sleek parabolic lines across the door panels. Both the regular and long wheelbase versions have the same design, but the latter looks more special with its extended rear doors, C-pillar and more exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels. 

Towards the back, the Genesis G90 gets a steeply flowing down rear windscreen and a wide and curved design for the boot lid. There are two sleek and stretched LED bars across the width of the boot lid, which merge with the tail lamps designed in the same manner, while stretching outwards. Even the rear bumper looks stylish, with a host of elements like chrome garnish for the bumper inserts. 

The Genesis G90 offers a magic carpet ride quality with features like active noise control restricting road noises and a multi-chamber air suspension. The four suspension settings like bump control, downhill control, highway control and rough road control, make the ride quality feel excellent. Along with rear wheel steering and the option of all-wheel drive, the Genesis G90 also offers three brake modes – Comfort, Sport and Chauffeur. 

The only engine option powering the Genesis G90 is a 3.5-litre turbocharged V6 engine, which is available in two states of tune. In the regular wheelbase version, this engine makes 380 PS of power and 530 Nm of torque. The long wheelbase version has the same engine with a 48V mild hybrid system and electrically-assisted turbocharger, which makes 415 PS of power and 550 Nm of torque. There are four drive modes to choose from – Comfort, Eco, Sport and Custom. 

The elongated list of safety features offered in Genesis G90 as standard include 10 airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, electronic stability control, traction control, head-up display, hands-on detection, forward collision avoidance assist, blind spot collision avoidance assist, blind-spot view monitor, lane keep assist, lane follow assist, remote smart parking, surround view monitor, parking collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist and intelligent front lighting system.
