While the Chevrolet Malibu looks quite dramatic from outside, the interior cabin somewhat lacks the same level of drama in its visual appeal. The overall layout though exudes top-notch quality and premium enough to withstand the competition from other cars.

The T-shaped steering wheel with a triangular center boss feels good to hold and looks great, while the analog and digital combination in the instrument console has a unique layout to it. The sloping roofline towards the boot and wide design for the boot lid with large tail lamps and dual exhaust ports on sides of the rear bumper give it a visual appeal of a grand tourer.

The Chevrolet Malibu has got a softer suspension setup which offers a plush experience of being driven in. Though it is not an enthusiastic vehicle to drive, as the steering somewhat lacks the precision of a true blue driver’s car, then, it has well-balanced driving dynamics to make sure your drives aren’t boring.

The Chevrolet Malibu can be had with one of the two engine options under its hood. The smaller 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine in lower variants produces 165 PS of maximum power and 250 Nm of torque, while the bigger 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine makes 250 PS and 353 Nm of power and torque respectively. Both engines get a common 6-speed automatic gearbox as standard.

The interior design could have been styled a bit more flamboyant, just like how it looks on the outside.
