BYD SEAL Overview

Chinese automobile manufacturer Byd has updated the Seal electric sedan in its home country. The car now comes with new architecture, support for faster charging, exterior enhancements, and interior changes. The upgraded Byd Seal is aligned with the company’s new 800V architecture. It’s an upgrade over the previous generation’s 400V system. In the Emirates market, the 2024 Byd Seal is available with an 80.64 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and has a claimed mileage of up to 700 km on a single recharge. The redesigned exterior sports sharp lines. The most significant update is the LiDAR sensor mounted on the roof that improves the car’s driver-assist system.
