Step into the cabin of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, and you will begin appreciating its top-notch quality and uniformity in the layout of the panels. The cabin still has the essence of old-school design, which can be seen in the pop-up-styled dual-pod instrument console and physical buttons in the centre console. However, they all feel good to see and use. The cabin is draped in full-black Nappa leather upholstery, garnished with brushed aluminium, faux walnut inserts, and aluminium pedals.

Suppose you look closely at the design of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. In that case, you will be impressed by the timelessness and elegance in the design, which stays true to Alfa Romeo’s traditional design language. However, don’t consider it as an SUV with a tall stance, as the compact dimensions, curvy bodyline and slightly low ground clearance of the Stevio make it more of a crossover rather than an SUV.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio has a very unique front fascia, comprising of a triangular grille in the middle, which has gloss black surrounds and inserts. The sides of the front fascia are occupied by sleek-looking wing-shaped headlamp housings, which are horizontally long and come with LED projectors and daytime running LEDs on their outer edges. Adding more dynamism to the driving experience of the Stevio are chassis domain control (CDC), all-aluminium Alfa Link suspension setup comprising of double-wishbone with semi-virtual steering axle at the front and multi-link setup with four and a half links at the rear.

The only variant of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio on sale in the UAE is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This engine is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 280 PS and a peak torque output of 415 Nm.

Apart from six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, front and rear parking sensors, reverse camera, hill hold assist and hill descent control, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio is also armed with Level-2 ADAS. This package consists of additional features like active blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, forward collision warning with the autonomous emergency brake, driver attention assist, active cruise control, parking assist, and automatic high beam.
