ABU DHABI: From hypercars to racing debuts and electric pickups, the UAE witnessed remarkable launches redefining performance, luxury, and innovation in the automotive world.  

• Zenvo Automotive debuted new Aurora hypercar colors in Dubai, inspired by the Aurora Borealis.
• Genesis Magma Racing made its global debut with LMDh racing aspirations and the GMR-001 Hypercar.
• The Riddara RD6 electric pickup truck showcased its capabilities at the Dubai Autodrome.

The UAE recently hosted three landmark automotive events: Zenvo Automotive’s Aurora hypercar unveiling, Genesis Magma Racing’s debut, and the Riddara RD6 electric pickup truck test drive. These launches highlighted advancements in hypercar design, racing technology, and sustainable mobility, reflecting the UAE's role as a global hub for automotive innovation.

Zenvo Aurora: A Celebration of Colors and Power

Zenvo Automotive unveiled striking new colorways for its Aurora hypercar at The Four Seasons Resort Dubai. Inspired by the Northern Lights, the Agil variant showcased a pearl finish with a blue-green flake, while the Tur variant dazzled with a spectrum reminiscent of Arabian jewels.

Powered by a 6.6-liter quad-turbo V12 and lightweight electric motors, the Aurora boasts unparalleled performance:

• Agil: 1450 hp for track precision.
• Tur: 1850 hp for grand touring excellence.

Each variant is limited to 50 units, hand-built in Denmark, with first deliveries slated for 2026.

Genesis Magma Racing: Redefining Motorsport Ambitions

Under the shadow of the Burj Khalifa, Genesis Motor revealed its Genesis Magma Racing team, marking the luxury brand’s entry into endurance racing. Key highlights included the debut of the Genesis GMR-001 Hypercar, developed under Luc Donckerwolke, plans to join the LMDh class, combining hybrid tech with standardized components and the Hyundai Motorsport’s collaboration for a 2025 European Le Mans Series entry and a 2026 WEC debut.

Genesis also unveiled its Magma Racing logo, inspired by the Korean alphabet, symbolizing innovation and cultural pride.

Riddara RD6: Pioneering Affordable Electric Pickups

At the Dubai Autodrome, Riddara tested the RD6, its first all-electric pickup truck. With SUV-inspired styling, a spacious rear "super bucket," and 6kW discharge provisions, it’s perfect for work and recreation.

Key features include:

• Powertrains: 73 kWh (424 km range) and 86 kWh (455 km range).
• Performance: 315 kW power, 585 Nm torque, and switchable 4x4 systems.
• Interior: Premium leather seats, a 14.6-inch infotainment screen, and a 10.2-inch instrument display.Picture
