With it’s smartly designed cabin, which resembles the styling of an entry-level luxury car. The controls inside are user-interactive and quite easy to learn and use. The adjustable driver's seat provides ease in accommodation for a wide range of body types. The cabin space inside of the Yaris Sedan is very well designed as getting in and out of the front is mostly easy. The trunk space of the car is capable enough to easily manage with over three mid-sized trolley bags. Also, the car can easily manage with six-footers at the rear seat of the car without providing any discomfort.
Low-speed pre-collision system
A feature of the car that sets it apart from the other segments in its price range is its standard safety feature of the low-speed pre-collision system, which monitors the road directly in front of the driver of the car and helps them to prevent a collision with another vehicle. This low-speed feature provides an audio/visual alert and braking assistance when it detects a potential collision. Interestingly, in the event the driver doesn’t respond at all, the system can even automatically apply the brakes.
Enhanced driving experience
The Toyota Yaris Sedan provides reliable and smooth handling over all of the road forms and all types of terrains. The superb handling which comes in with the handy and excellent automatic transmission makes moving to higher speeds smooth. The response and quickness of the steering provide easy cornering and cruising through the city. Its 1.5-litre engine which generates a total of 105 hp makes it comfortable to run at high-speeds at the highways.
Active Safety System
With its standard Active Safety System that includes a suite of advanced features, centered around improving the stability, traction, and braking of the car. The Yaris Sedan tends to provide a safe and secure ride to its occupants. Additionally, the tyre-pressure monitor and stability control now come as standard.
Cons of the Toyota Yaris Sedan
No Android Play
Unlike some of its competitors, the Toyota Yaris specs sheet does include Android Auto support. Drivers who are used to having Android integration or find it easy to use might find it difficult to use the Yaris. However, the updated model gets Apple CarPlay.
Bit Slow
The 1.5-litre engine might be efficient to pull 95 kmph, starting from 0 in just 10 seconds but the powertrain configuration still has room for development. The engine output can be questioned when it comes to other competitors of the Sedan segment.
Conclusion
The Toyota Yaris has a sleek interior, user-friendly features, great fuel economy, and an above-average predicted reliability rating which ensures a safe and economic ride and affordability at its price tag. It’s also agile and enjoyable to drive. The Yaris is the least-expensive model in the Toyota lineup, and hosts some of the most standard features across its segment, making it a good value car in its category.
