The Midsummer is powered by a 339 horsepower straight-six turbocharged engine mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.Limited to only 50 units, all sold before its public debut, the Midsummer utilizes the BMW-derived drivetrain and chassis of the Morgan Plus Six. Powered by a 339-horsepower straight-six turbocharged engine mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it achieves an anticipated 0-60 mph time in approximately 4.5 seconds.
The limited batch of 50 cars will undergo Morgan's existing production process for its Plus models. The production process will most likely conclude by early 2025. The Midsummer exudes unique design tweaks, including simplified rear lights, larger headlights combining daytime running lights and indicators, and an aero-cheating radiator shroud. With horizontal air extraction louvers, Pininfarina has given a new look to the long bonnet, while aerodynamics has been enhanced with slight alterations to the rear wings and aluminum front. Uniquely designed lightweight wheels and hand-formed stainless steel finishers help in maintaining under 1,000kg dry weight.
