Mitsubishi gives a sneak peek of upcoming Outlander PHEV

ABU DHABI: Mitsubishi has teased the updated Outlander PHEV for 2025, revealing slight modifications from its fourth-gen predecessor. This latest iteration comes with many enhancements and updates over its predecessor. The full look of this new variant remains hidden in shadow.

    Atsushi Gomi, Mitsubishi’s chief product specialist, revealed that the new Outlander PHEV has been designed based on the feedback of the customers for a “higher quality feel.” Naoki Akita, Design Program Director added that the variant will be available in a new “Moonstone Gray Metallic” color. Its flagship appeal will be enhanced by a more refined front fascia.

    The new Outlander PHEV will be launched initially in Japan, hoping for the next release in the UAE as the current model’s more powerful replacement. The existing Outlander PHEV in the UAE features electric power steering, a 2.4-liter engine, and a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion battery.
