Images of 2019 Audi TT released on social media; could be revealed soon

ABU DHABI: Though it was anticipated that the revised model of Audi TT would make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in the month of September, its images popping up online signals something else. Audi recently dropped a few teaser images of the car on their official Facebook page, indicating a much sooner debut.

The first glimpse of the 2019 Audi TT unmasked the revised front and rear profiles, showcasing the new vents and oval-shaped air intakes beneath the new tail lights. The blurred side-on motion shot offers not a very clear view of the automobile, but it was apparent that orange is being considered as an exterior color option. The retouched front fascia might come complimented with newly designed headlights. The grille is bigger than it was before.

There isn’t a lot of details available for the cabin and the features. However, the 2019 Audi TT is sure to get a higher number of tech-related features than the previous model.

Apart from the improvised cooling changes, there is also the sporty 5-spoke wheels but were wrapped under mediocre tyres. However, the German company does manage to keep the coupe-ish design intact.

The company hasn’t revealed a word on the mechanical configuration or the engine specification. However, the 2019 TT is believed to be getting two tune options. The lower trim would be getting the four-cylinder TFSI engine which will be capable of making a maximum power of 230 PS along with a peak torque of 370 Nm.

The higher S variant can be propelled with the help at 280 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. And as for the transmission, there could be a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The 2019 Audi TT could make a debut soon, probably within the coming months.
