EV Crossover based on Mustang to come out in November 2020
It has been some time since Ford announced to revive the Mach 1 in the form of an electric crossover. Following the news, Ford took a u-turn on the title of the crossover following the disagreement of the fans. However, the project was still on, and the American automobile manufacturer has teased the upcoming EV crossover in a video that is 22 seconds long.
Interestingly, even before Ford posted the video on its social media handles, the video was uploaded on advocate.socialchorus.com. The 22-second long video teases a full-size clay model and a line sketch of the soon to be displayed all-electric SUV by Ford.
Most importantly, the video has also revealed the date when the EV crossover will, at last, step on the podium. It will be 11-17-19 when we witness the EV crossover in the flesh. Moreover, Ford itself has confirmed the news.
Coming on to the specifications or any other details about Ford's upcoming EV crossover, there isn't much known about the same. The only available information includes that the EV crossover will be based on the automaker's icon Mustang and will be the first-ever all-electric offering from Ford. Besides, the line-sketch also reveals a structure that seems to have taken inspiration from the Mustang.
So, all we can do now is wait till the 17th of December when the Ford EV crossover comes out in the flesh. In terms of the title, Ford might just name its EV crossover as Mach 1. There were speculations regarding titles like Falcon and Maverick, but these two seem highly unlikely to be revived by Ford.
