Changan CS95 for UAE revealed in Dubai
ABU DHABI: Union Motors is the official distributor of the Changan vehicles (a Chinese automobile manufacturer) in the Emirates region. The distributor has now revealed the new CS95. The event took place at the Conrad Hotel in the city of Dubai. However, the revelation has been made to the media representatives and to the company’s officials only.
The Changan CS95 has taken designing cues from the British origin Land Rover Range Rover and the American Ford Explorer SUVs. The car is presently the largest model in the company’s lineup and is a mid-size SUV by type. It would be available in both front-wheel-drive as well as an all-wheel-drive mechanism.
The all-new Changan CS95 would be powered by a turbocharged, four-cylinder, 2.0-litre engine under the hood and could be driven off at a maximum power of 233 hp along with a peak torque of 360 Nm. The power would be sent down to the wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
It would have a comparatively higher fuel efficiency, with the meter reading over 10 kmpl. Plus, despite the high efficiency, the turbocharged engine is quite potent and can easily hit a top speed of around 200 kmph.
At the revealing event, the General Manager of Union Motors, Raymond Ma, has said that besides cars, the company even focuses on the latest technology, design, and safety in the markets of Asia, North America and Europe. The company finds immense satisfaction in serving its customers and in a quest to do so, has added another important model in the lineup in the form of the CS95.
The Changan CS95 was first unveiled at the Chinese Guangzhou Auto Show. The price of this mid-size SUV ranges between AED 89,500 and AED 99,900. The prices, according to the manufacturer's moto, is definitely difficult to be ignored.
