Cars in focus at the 2019 Dubai International Motor Show
The 2019 Dubai International Motor Show is underway with a lot of pepped up cars waiting to ignite the enthusiast in you. So, if you haven’t visited the show yet, it is time to show up. The gates of the show will be closed on the 16th of November.
To take you through all the goodness that’s happening at the show we have compiled it together - supercars, powerful beasts, electric vehicles, and limited edition cars.
McLaren Senna
Launched online on December 10, 2017, by McLaren Automotive, the Senna is a limited-edition sports car with 800 PS engine and an ability to clock 100 kmph from standstill in just 2.8 seconds. It was officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last year, while it’s on display at the Dubai International Motor Show.
Aston Martin One-77
Next up is the Aston Martin One-77, which has been showcased by the British carmaker, Aston Martin. The supercar is a two-seater that features a 7.3-litre V12 engine under the hood which is capable of producing a max power of 760 PS.
Ferrari 812 Superfast
Ferrari has staged its 800 PS grand tourer, the 812 Superfast that is a front mid-engine sports car with rear-wheel-drive system and 6.5-litre V12 engine. It is also the successor to the F12berlinetta. It debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 2017.
Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T
The Italian manufacturer has brought the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T to the show which looks gorgeous in black. It features a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged engine under the flesh which is capable of churning out a max power of 609 PS.
2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
Next up on display is the all-new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray that gets a brand-new mid-engine layout. This is the first time that the company has blessed it with a mid-engine layout. The car has been completely redesigned for 2020, looks edgier and meaner than before.
Ajlani Drakuma
This has to be one of the main attractions of the show. It’s a design concept of a 1216 PS twin-turbo hypercar from the domestic automaker, Ajlani Motors. The automotive group is based out of the UAE and this is their first-ever car. Deserves a lot of praise than criticism.
Notorious
Produced by Zedro Motors, the Notorious is a 1267 PS hypercar which is based on the Infiniti G37. The interesting part of this car is that the Lebanese automaker is offering it with a customisation option under which you can choose to customise the colour of the wheels and finish, leather, stitching, headlamps, taillights and even get your’s initials engraved on it.
Aspark Owl
Another spectacular showcase from the show is the Aspark Owl, which is the fastest electric sports car in the world right now. With 2040 PS of power to work with, the Owl can travel from 0 to 100 kmph in just 1.9 seconds. It has an all-electric travel range of 450 km.
Bugatti Chiron
Our very own and one of the most admired sports car from the fleet of the French automobile manufacturer is also here, the Bugatti Chiron. Powered by the 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine, taken from the Bugatti Veyron, the Chiron pumps out a max power of 1,500 PS and a peak torque of 1,600 Nm.
Maserati GranTurismo MC
Presenting another Italian beauty that wears Grigio Lava matte paint and looks fabulous is the Maserati GranTurismo MC. It uses 4,691cc engine to produce 466 PS of max power and 520 Nm of peak torque. It can cover 100 kmph from zero in 4.5 seconds before attaining its top speed of 303 kmph.
Mercedes-Benz EQC 400
From the luxury fleet of the German automaker, Dubai audience gets to see the all-electric luxury SUV, the EQC 400. With performance rated at 414 PS and 760 Nm, the SUV is capable of travelling 471 km on a single charge.
BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe
The luxury grand tourer from BMW is also a part of the Dubai Motor Show. A competition to the Audi A7 and Mercedes-Benz CLS, the 8 Series features a six-cylinder turbocharged engine under the bonnet that good for generating a max power of 345 PS and a peak torque of 500 Nm.
BMW Z4 M40i
Don’t miss to meet the sporty BMW Z4 M40i, a petrol-powered sports car with a twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine that generates 340 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque. It is a two-seater with a driver-angled cabin.
Peel P50 Trident
Another interesting exhibit of the show is the Peel P50 Trident, built in 1963, which is the smallest production car in the world. It weighs just 80 kg and comes with an electric motor. The British manufacturer claims that it can hit the top speed of 40 kmph.
