ABU DHABI: With a new 'Performance' variant, Audi has decided to expand its Q6 e-tron lineup. This new variant will join the previously launched SQ6 e-tron and Q6 e-tron Quattro. It is an entry-level model boasting the highest driving range.

The Audi Q6 e-tron Performance is set to make its debut later this year, with deliveries expected to start in the third quarter.The upcoming Audi Q6 e-tron Performance will be available in a rear-wheel drive configuration and a Permanent Synchronous Motor will propel it forward. The latter would produce up to 326 hp and take 6.6 seconds to accelerate the vehicle from 0-100 kmph. Compared to this, the SQ6 e-tron and the Q6 e-tron Quattro deliver outputs of 517 hp and 387 hp, respectively.
Equipped with the same 100kWh battery pack as its counterparts, the Q6 e-tron Performance boasts an extended range of 641 km (WLTP), exceeding both the standard Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron by 16 km and 43km, respectively.
The Q6 e-tron’s new variant retains its original design and there are very few cosmetic alterations. Inside, it has a twin-screen setup comprising an 11.9-inch screen and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen. Additionally, it also comes with a separate 10.9-inch passenger touchscreen positioned out of the line of sight of the driver for entertainment. The infotainment system supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
In terms of cargo carrying capacity, the Q6 e-tron Performance offers a boot space of around 526 litres. As an electric vehicle, the Q6 e-tron has a frunk that offers additional storage space of around 64 litres.
The Audi Q6 e-tron Performance is set to make its debut later this year, with deliveries expected to start in the third quarter.
