Chevy Spark EUV: A Stylish and Budget-Friendly Electric Crossover

General Motors is bringing back the Chevy Spark, but this time as a fully electric crossover. The 2026 Chevy Spark EUV is a rebadged version of the Baojun Yep Plus SUV, developed through GM’s SAIC-GM-Wuling partnership in China.

Set to launch in UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other Middle Eastern markets, the Spark EUV aims to be an affordable and stylish EV option for urban drivers looking for efficiency, practicality, and a touch of fun.

Compact Yet Bold Design

The Spark EUV makes a strong visual statement with its boxy exterior, two-tone roof, and sporty 16-inch wheels. Designed to stand out, it will be available in six striking colors, including Sea Blue with a Polar White roof, Track Yellow, and Gentle Gray with a Star Twinkle Black roof.

Buyers can further personalize their Spark EUV with Ground Effects, Side Moldings, Assist Steps, and additional storage accessories, making it a car that truly reflects their personality.

The 2026 Chevy Spark EUV runs on a 75 kW (101 hp) electric motor, delivering 180 Nm of torque to the front wheels. It is powered by a 42 kWh LFP battery, providing an estimated 220 miles (360 km) of range on the NEDC cycle.

While the 50 kW fast-charging capability is lower than premium EVs, it ensures an affordable price point, making it a great option for city driving and daily commutes.

Personalization and Customization Options

Chevy is heavily promoting personalization, allowing buyers to tailor their Spark EUV to their tastes. Accessories like Side and Rear Storage Boxes and multiple styling themes make the car appealing to adventurers, gamers, music lovers, and sports fans alike.

Expected Availability in UAE

The 2026 Chevy Spark EUV will arrive in the UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon, Iraq, Oman, and Egypt later this summer. Pricing details remain undisclosed, but given its Chinese sibling, the Baojun Yep, starts at $12,000 in China, an attractive sub-$20,000 price tag is possible.
