2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class steals the spotlight with its immersive entertainment options
ABU DHABI: Mercedes-Benz has given an early glimpse of the interior of its 2024 E-Class. The operating system of E-Class's third-gen MBUX will be compatible with third-party apps like Angry Birds, Tik Tok, and Zoom. The E-Class interface has been designed in a way that it offers the perfect combination of media, information, and relaxation.
The new E-Class audio-visual features have also been upgraded with the MBUX Superscreen inspired by the current MBUX Hyperscreen found in the top-notch Mercedes models. The E-class will have the Hyperscreen's modified version that was seen for the first time in the EQS EV. Its screen is bigger and has a smartphone-like utilizing icons and tiles.
The interior also features an "Active Ambient Lighting'' system that can reinforce visual alerts and signals. High-trim E-Class models will have ZYNC, which can keep people engaged with video streaming, games, news, and interactive experiences on the available passenger display and central touchscreen. There is a built-in selfie camera that allows the driver to hold meetings in the car. When the car is parked, the driver can participate in an online video conference via Zoom and Webex and take videos and photos.
There's also a high-tech camera that records the eye movements of the driver and automatically reduces the brightness when the driver looks at the passenger screen to reduce distraction. E-Class also features a Burmester surround sound system with four sound transducers and 17 speakers in the front seats.
What will impress the owners the most about this car is that they can install third-party applications on the system without the need to mirror apps from Apple devices or Android.
The 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-class promises improved powertrains, advanced technology, and a new look inside and out. It will stun you with advanced Energizing Comfort wellness program features, including a combination of massage, sounds, lighting, and more.
Mercedes has not revealed anything about the E-Class's driving experience, but we expect the German automaker to drop hints soon regarding this aspect.
