The Toyota Corolla is powered by its 1.6 litre 4-cylinder engine that generates an output of 122 PS at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 154 Nm at 5,200 rpm. However, the Honda Civic takes the edge over Toyota Corolla when it comes to fuel efficiency.

The handling and smoothness of driving in both the vehicles is more or less the same. Both the cars are equipped with features to ensure a smooth ride.

The new generation Honda Civic is equipped with a number of safety features. With as many as six airbags and Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD).
